I want to have a more organic feel to the robot I design. I want some parts to be clearly mechanical but the rest more organic and flowy in a way. like have the organic part look more like muscle and tendons and the mechanical part look more like a covering.

Per our in-person conversation, use the Loomis drawings as a basis of construction. Create more drawings/designs--don't worry about the details. But give us a good visual idea about what connects where and how it might move / articulate. Try the Vertical, Horizontal, and 45 degree trick.
